How to generate a Signed NinjaTrader® Machine ID?
Following are instructions to generate and register your Machine ID for EdgeTraderTools Products License:
1. Go to the NinjaTrader® Control Center, then click Help > “3rd Party Licensing…”
The 3rd Party Licensing Window should open.
2. In the “Vendor name” field, input the text EdgeTraderTools – make sure it has the capital E, T and T.
3. In the “User defined ID” field, input any text, up to you, that identifies you or your machine, for example FirstLastName or CompanyName. The User defined ID can only contain letters and numbers, no spaces.
4. Press the “Submit” button. This will link your Machine and User Defined ID to the EdgeTraderTools vendor at the Ninjatrader license server.
5. Next, navigate to https://www.edgetradertools.com/my-account and login to your ‘My Account’ page.
Go to the Machine ID tab.
6. Copy the newly generated Machine ID to the “Machine ID 1” field in your ‘My Account’ page and click Save changes.
If you are buying 2 licenses, copy and paste the second Machine ID in the field “Machine ID 2” field and click Save changes buttons.
7. You can now close the “3rd party licensing” window in Ninjatrader
Please allow up to 24 hours for the licensing system to validate your Machine ID and activate your purchase.
Note: The Machine ID may change if you were to change the hardware on your PC, do a software update or reinstall Windows and this may cause your license to be deactivated. If your NinjaTrader® Machine ID changes, please add the new Machine ID in your My Account page and send us an email or message through Contact Us and we will update it in the licensing system.
